Starting IVF, but I have love heart shaped uterus ?

I had a 3D scan and been told I have love heart shape uterus , so not the normal pear shape , do you think this will massively reduce my chances of pregnancy ? I have had 5 early misscarriges before and no children …

Hi @Sadgirl28 this is called an arcuate uterus, I was told I had one too from the US, although there was no evidence of it when I had a HSG for another reason. An arcuate uterus is a normal variant and shouldn't have an impact on fertility. I think a uterine septum can be more of an issue, but I would have expected the clinic to discuss this with you if they thought there was a risk you had this from the scan.
