Starting IVF, norethisterone medicine ?

I just picked up my medicine norethisterone , and I have been given 2 packs , 30 tablets in each , 5mg , so I have to take it 3 times a day 5mg which makes it 15mg a day . So 60 tablets ,3 times a day makes it 20 days 15mg ? Is that normal ? I have to start taking it on day 21 of my next cycle . So does that mean I have to take the norethisterone for 20 days ? Is this too long ? Iv seen posts that people take it for 6-7 days ? I’m so confused any help appreaciated

@Sadgirl28 it will depend on your individual protocol. Please check with your clinic

I had to take 3 a day for 3 weeks so I think it depends entirely on what your clinic wants. Some only do scans, collections and transfers on certain days so can be to time everything to fit

@Sadgirl28 I've just had my plan through and I'll be on it for about 2 weeks :) I think it's a planning thing so the clinic can schedule egg collection ect - if you're concerned I would abs though, can't hurt! But I don't think it's unusual x

I was given waaaay too much when I got it also, think they like to give you more than needed just in case, they may end up asking you to take it for longer if it doesn't work with their schedule well.
