First scan after bfp

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I don't really know where else to ask. So I had bfp (yay!!!) on Saturday after my embryo transfer on the 30th May. I've been booked in by my clinic for a scan on the 25th, so this would be 3 weeks + 4days. That seems really early to me. Has anyone else had a scan this early? I thought it was usually 6 weeks? I don't know if the nurse just worked it out wrong as I got the impression she was in a hurry
Thanks

Congratulations! Flowers

If you had a 3 day transfer then you are now the equivalent of 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant if it was by natural conception.

This explains it a bit better
www.cityfertility.com.au/understanding-the-two-week-wait-in-ivf/
These two weeks are considered the final phase of IVF. Called the luteal phase, it is the time between embryo transfer and the pregnancy test. These two weeks would be equivalent to the part of a non-stimulated 28-day cycle that happens between days 15 and 28

@Dove88 congrats on your BFP! You need to count back to egg collection day (usually 3 or 5 days depending on what stage the embryo was transferred) and then add on another 2 weeks. I know that makes it seem that you were pregnant 2 weeks before egg collection but that's how the midwife will date the pregnancy

Thank you! Don't know why I'm finding it so hard to wrap my head round the calculations 🙈

You are usually 2 weeks + age of embryo pregnant the day they transfer :)
