DHEA advice needed

My fertility consultant asked me 5o get bloods for testosterone done to see about DHEA as she said my egg quacpuld be causing my recurrent miscarriages... my question is if I go on DHEA do I have to stop trying to get pregnant? Can you get pregnant on DHEA or will it reduce your chances? Just dont want to have to wait x months for lovely to increase..

Dhea is recommended quite commonly for anyone going through ivf, right up until egg collection. So it certainly won't stop you getting pregnant, but im not sure if you'd take it right through the two weeks between ovulation and your period starting (as obviously in ivf you'd stop after egg collection so you wouldn't be taking it when there's a chance youre actually pregnant, if that makes sense?) but that's something you can ask the consultant. As for waiting, you wouldn't need to but they say it takes around 3 weeks to make a difference.

When I say period starting I mean when it's due to start. Didnt want you to think I was being a pessimist 😂
