NHS prescription costs - Newcastle CCG?

Hi

I'm starting down regulation next week, and I need to go to the clinic to pick up the prescription. As this is an NHS round I assumed it would be an NHS prescription, but I've now read that some CCGs don't include the cost of medication in the funding.

Costs haven't been mentioned to us at all through the process, and while we can pay it'll be a bit of a shock to have to pay £600+ instead of the £30ish NHS charge I expected. So it's a long shot, but if anyone has had NHS IVF in Newcastle it'd be great to know whether you got a private or NHS prescription. I feel a bit stupid now for not asking the nurse when we went through the whole process a few weeks ago.

Thanks!

Ignore this, I decided to stop being a fanny and just phone the fertility centre - it's the standard NHS charge.
