I recently had a MMC at 10+6 weeks following FET. Surgical management. Luckily I still have some frozen embryos left and I’m desperate to try again as soon as possible because I’m worried about the age gap between my DS and any future sibling getting bigger.
I have an appointment booked for next week with my consultant to discuss next steps, but when I spoke to the nurse on the phone she seemed to think that he wouldn’t approve of starting a cycle on my next natural bleed, and would rather wait until the one after that at least. The thing is, I have PCOS and it’s not unusual for me to have cycles that last 50 days or more, so we could be looking at a delay of several months.
Obviously I don’t want to ‘waste’ an embryo if my body isn’t ready, but this clinic does have form for being overly cautious with things like this.
I was wondering if anyone has been in this position and what the advice from their consultant was? And what was the outcome of any subsequent treatment?
