Ovitrelle 250mg - When out of system?

Hello,

I am currently 8dp5dt and tested early!! I couldn't help myself and we were over the moon to have our first ever BFP in the 3 years we have been TTC. The doubts have now started to creep in and I am concerned that it may be leftover hcg from my trigger shot.

Does anyone have any experience of how long it would normally take for the trigger to leave my system. This is my first round of IVF and stupidly didn't test the trigger out.

I did a double trigger and it was out by 3dp5dt.
At 8dp5dt that's the same as 13DPO at which 90% of tests are accurate so congratulations you've got yourself a BFP! 🥳

@andivfmakes3 thank you, that's really helpful. Everything I read online said between 7-14 days but our clinic were so adamant we shouldn't test early incase of false results... but I couldn't help myself!

Hi @Piippa , it is usually out of my system on 12 days past trigger. How dark is the bfp? If it isn't a squinter I would say that it is true- tentative congrats and my fingers are crossed for you!

Hi @londonladyTTC, thank you. I did another test yesterday at 9dp5dt with FMU and had a strong positive result. We plan to test again in a few days as official OTD isn't until Saturday. Keeping our fingers crossed it isn't a trigger positive.
