Meriofert - did it work for you?

Just a qu on Meriofert as I can’t find much info on it online... Been switched to it for this round having had a previous cycle on gonal f which resulted in my son. Did it improve egg quality compared to other drugs? I’m on a whopping 450 dose as I was with the gonal f

Hi there, yes I was prescribed meriofert and I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant after a FET. Like you I didn’t hear of many other women taking this however I read that it helped older women with egg quality . I was 39 at EC. Best of luck with it all

For future ref for anyone else looking for info, I didn’t really get an answer from doctor as to why except that it’s just “better” :-). Sounded like she’s mostly using it now. Anyway I am 38 and just finished egg collection, managed to get more eggs than in my cycle at 36 and the same ratio converting to blastocyst which was half the eggs fertilised. Not pregnant yet but hopefully one of them will be my lucky one 🤞

No. We just created a lot of shit quality embryos.

@EL8888 I think maybe us too. Got 6 embryos from 12 eggs but first 3 transfers failed. Just done another cycle on menopur and got 4 embryos from 8 eggs, so same ratio but a couple of As in the grades for first time. They've gone for PGT A testing so I'll know soon enough if these are also shit
