Testing before OTD

I had my 5 day FET on the 19th.
My official test day is June 1st.
I've been getting positive since 4dp5dt (I didn't have a trigger)
The lines have good progression and I have been having symptoms but now I'm worried about the line disappearing.
I know it sounds dramatic but I'm just so worried and angry that I tested before test day because I'm afraid if I test again then it'll be negative.

Have anyone tested positive so early and it's been a good outcome?
Thank you xx

It doesn't look like it's disappearing on the 4,5,7 tests. Is there another test?

coffeewithmilk · 27/05/2021 10:57

@Gardenlady543 I'll be taking another test on day 9 I'd say to make sure it's still there!
I don't know why I do this to myself! Create unnecessary worry x

Hello @coffeewithmilk I watched a YouTube video that really helped me
Maybe it might help x keeping everything crossed for you it looks like good news to me x

@coffeewithmilk oh the line has been progressing but you're worried it might start disappearing. I would say try and focus on the positives.

It's a pitfall of testing early unfortunately, some people will pick up an early positive and then have a chemical. However the majority of people that I've seen on here go on to have a positive on their OTD.

I've never had a BFP ever and I'd be thrilled to be in your position, it's unlikely that anything you do will change the outcome. So just try and relax. Smile

@coffeewithmilk those lines look good to me Smile I've always tested early on the basis that I want to know if I've had a chemical. It all adds to building up a picture, for example following two chemicals I was put on aspirin and low dose steriods for the next transfer. Good luck!

Gardenlady543 · 27/05/2021 12:00

That's a good point @MabelG I found early testing was helpful because there were issues with my progesterone dosing and early bleeding, it helped to know I hadn't implanted, rather than me worrying that I has implanted and then lost a pregnancy because of the medication issues.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I just feel like a ball of nerves at the moment. I wanted to test because I just had a feeling it would be positive and I was right, but then I'm worried about chemical.
I'll just have to wait until official test day and try and put it to the back of my mind and hope that it is positive.

Does anyone know if it is a positive sign that I tested positive so early? It was positive on day 4 after transfer?

Thanks xx

@coffeewithmilk your tests are darker than mine were on my last (successful) round. I didn't get a positive until the afternoon of 5dpt and that was probably similar to your 4dpt line x

Gardenlady543 · 27/05/2021 16:47

@coffeewithmilk of course it's a good sign! The embryo has implanted and your body is producing hcg. In naturally cycles late implanters can have negative outcomes. So to get an early BFP is a good sign!

I was a rest maniac from very earlie all way to OTD and after OTD
the worry will never go even when you get your baby you still worry just obviously about diffent things
trust me been there twice and nothing anyone can do or say can change anything or make you feel better only time tells

Good luck the lines look great just like mine did x

Test* not rest - stupid phone lol

coffeewithmilk · 28/05/2021 07:03

Thank you for your reassurance.
I tested with another test this morning (not a frer as I only have 1 left)
It's one of the boots own brand which I read isn't very sensitive and it's very very dark, almost darker than the control so I feel a little bit more relieved now.
Official test day is Tuesday so I'm starting to feel a bit more positive now 🤞🏻
