I fear I'm infertile

Hi guys, this has been going round and round in my head and I think I'll go crazy if I don't write it down. I don't expect anyone to reply or understand and I know i probably sound ridiculous, but if anyone resonates ill know I'm not alone.

My and my other half are looking at trying to stay having children in the next few months. It will be the first child for both of us. I'm the lead up to this I've been trying to track my periods. I have quite a long cycle, around 35 days, but has always been quite regular, until now.

I've missed 2 periods consecutive periods and I'm not pregnant. I now can't get out of my head that I'm infertile.

Is anyone happy to share when they first thought they could have problems with infertility?
I apologise if its too personal.

Thank you for reading.

Missing a couple of periods can happen if you are stressed or diet changes etc? I guess the first question is how old you are? Under 40 then it's just likely to be a glitch although I do know a couple of women who had very irregular periods - maybe only 4 a year and they did still conceive naturally and have children - they did track ovulation all the time though as even though no period they did ovulate

Under-estimating one's own fertility is quite a common phenomena and leads to quite a few unwanted pregnancies.

If it's based only on two missed periods, I would say it isn't enough to suggest you're infertile, but I understand it's concerning and you want to know what's going on.

To answer your question, I knew I was infertile after I failed to get pregnant after over a year of trying. I started to fear I was infertile after only a few months (but as I said, that's very common).
