Hi, I’ve recently experienced a chemical pregnancy, first time we have conceived. Absolutely heartbroken, we where just so over joyed to see that BFP! Dr’s have advised that they won’t look into it until I’ve had 3 CP Shock Has anyone had similar experiences, ever found out the reason why & if its a sign of infertility? Is there anything I can take / do to try & stop it happening again in the future? Been taking folic acid the whole time we’ve been trying. Super grateful of any advise, help. Feeling quite lost at the moment!xxx

How long have you been trying?
A chemical is not a sign of infertility. If anything it's a good sign that things can progress. If you look at statistics a large amount end in chemical pregnancies but women don't know because they bleed around the time of their period. If you test early you are more likely to catch a chemical and notice.

Thank you for your reply. We’ve been trying for six months, that was our first BFP.
I started bleeding on the date my period was due but it was very light & brown colour, presumed I wasn’t pregnant but still felt really sick & my boobs where swollen all weekend so did a test on the Monday which was positive & bleeding had ended by this time! Guess the HCG was still in my system 🤔
