In 2019 we did a fresh cycle, implanting 1, which stuck, but then I had a MMC at 10 weeks. Last year we went back to the clinic to go again, but then pandemic and other family issues...time slipped by.
This morning I've decided to bite the bullet and go back once again and use our last frozen embryo.
Challenges: I'm 42, i need to lose weight-( which i struggle massively with..pcos), dh is concerned about everything that could go wrong esp due to my age.

Time seems to slip by so quickly.

Hi @sillysmiles, I’m sure it’s a stressful time and it’s natural to think of what could go wrong. But the one way you can guarantee that it won’t work is if you don’t try. You’re at least giving yourself a chance this way and it’s better to know than to spend your life wondering what would have happened if you’d given it a shot.

Wishing you lots of luck.

@sillysmiles I had my last frozen embryo transferred late last year at age 42 and I'm now 32 weeks pregnant. No issues at all with the pregnancy other than him being on the large side (but babies run in the family). The embryo was made in 2018 when I was 40 - the same cycle that gave us our beautiful twins, so similar to you - it can work! Good luck xxx

Thanks.

Rang the clinic yesterday so waiting for a call back to discuss options.
My logic is even if it doesn't work, then I'll know I've tried and no embryo was left behind!
