So I had some blood tests in December to investigate my levels which came back with no further investigation needed however I am 40 and me and my partner had been trying for over a year.
My doctor referred me to the hospital for further investigation I had an appointment set for April which was cancelled no explanation new date set for July.
Just received a letter now cancelling that one again no explanation and new date for appointment not til October. That will be almost a year of waiting for this appointment and I will be 41 by then.
I also had a miscarriage recently so although I did get pregnant I lost it.
Anyone else had this issue with NHS appointments being cancelled? Wondering if i should just go private.

There was a point that my clinic (Care but doing NHS funded treatments as well) had cancelled and rebooked my appointments at a rate of 100% (in total there were 6 appointments). It's such an awful feeling. I'm really sorry you're going through this. Try to call them to ask for an explanation and perhaps say you are thinking about submitting a formal complaint. In some places (postcodes) you're allowed to have treatment privately and still retain your NHS funding. Maybe this is something that you can look into. Good luck- hang in there xxx
