What happens next after clomid?

Hi, what happens next after I’ve done clomid if it doesn’t work? I’m on cycle 4 of 50mg clomid. Scans and bloods show I’ve been ovulating whilst taking clomid. All investigations came back clear for myself and OH. I’ve since been told I have an under active thyroid but that’s now down to 1.83.

Anybody??

We moved onto ivf, your dr might suggest iui.

Yes I went straight to ivf from clomid. It was recommended by my dr as on clomid I unfortunately had an ectopic that ruptured so ivf was the lowest risk (because I've had one ectopic, I'm more likely to have another) and also as I was 38 at that point.

I was the same as you. I had 50mg of clomid for 6 months. I had follicle tracking and a blood test showed I ovulated cycle 1 so they left us to it but no luck. We were then offered 3 IUIs and/or 1 IVF. If we went for IVF we would forgo our IUIs if that makes sense!! Ours were medicated IUIs xx

@DisneyGirl2387 thanks for your response. Have you done any IUI’s yet? Did you have any issues?

@Suki2020 yes I had my first IUI in March 2020 and we were incredibly lucky for it to work first time. My DS was born in November and is sleeping beside me as I type. I thank my lucky stars everyday! Have you got an appointment booked in for when you finish your last round of clomid? X
