Hi,
Ttc 2.5yrs not even a sniff of a pregnancy, everything is supposedly normal my end, DH has 3% morphology but consultant not overly concerned. Had HSG last month all clear, meaning we are now entitled to 3 round of iui, failing that ...1 round of ivf. I'm just curious really, for anyone who had iui on nhs (or leicester royal even), how long did you wait for it? Next appointment is 10th June and I'm hoping he will turn around and say next cycle we can have our first attempt. I understand every clinic is different within the trust, just wondered out if curiosity. Thanks

I'm sorry that you are going through this. I have been there and will never forget the feelings of hopelessness and longing. We had IUI in coventry hopsital. I had my first appointment in April 2019, Hycosy in May, 6 months of clomid from June to Nov, meeting about next steps in Dec, meeting about IUI and medication training in Jan and then first IUI in February. I was initially told I would have to have a month gap between each cycle but as they weren't busy the nurses told me I could do the rounds back to back. So for us it was a quick turn around (although this was pre pandemic). Amazingly it worked for us first time and my DS was born in November 2020. I count my blessing everyday. Sending you hugs on your journey x

Yes I had a medicated cycle with clomid and menopur injections. Lots of follicle tracking scans and then ovietrelle to release the egg. I don't mind any questions so feel free to ask if you have any more x

It is so hard all of the waiting isn't it. I used to try and stay as busy as possible as otherwise you're just counting down cycle days. Although this is a lot harder in recent times. I wish you all the best and hope it all goes well for you both x

Hi sorry I know your post was written a while back but We have our first appointment at the leicester royal in a few weeks but it is over the phone. We have all our tests etc and have been on the waiting list for 3 rounds of IUI - i just wondered what the first appointment involved and how long you had to wait before starting treatment? Hope you weren’t waiting too long!
