Hello, could really do with advice/support on this one, or if anyone has any experience of the one step pregnancy tests...
I'm currently 15dp5dt, my test date was Sunday and I used the one step test the clinic gave me. It came up as a very faint positive. As I couldn't phone the clinic to report until yesterday, I went out and bought tesco own brand test and retested yesterday morning. Still a very faint positive. I didn't realise that my husband had also bought tests (FRRR) from Amazon, so mid morning yesterday I tested again and got a much stronger positive.
After speaking to the clinic the asked me to come in today for the first beta hcg test, when I got there they asked me to test again with a one step test and it was negative, and so they told me to prepare for a chemical pregnancy. I was a bit miffed as I tested first thing this morning and had a clear positive, anyway they've taken bloods anyway and I'll get them back tomorrow.
I retested when I got home (yes, again) and it was positive.
What on earth is going on? Has anyone else had confusing results from a one step test?
