Hiya
I was just wondering if anyone had any insight? I've been wondering if I have a shorter luteal phase than it might seem.
I get a menstrual migraine about 4-5 days before my period - this is usually 9-10dpo but this month is 8 dpo. Having done multiple IVF cycles with regular blood tests I'm fairly sure I get a migraine when my progesterone levels drop. I'm wondering whether my body has long enough for an embryo to implant if my progesterone is dropping so early?
It looks as though I have a normal luteal phase because it is 14-15 days but could this actually be masking the fact that my progesterone "phase" is too short? Most peoples' menstrual migraines (according to Google) are at 2 days before a period rather than 4-5.
I've never been pregnant naturally. Tho I should say for balance that when I did have a successful pregnancy (IVF), I still got my migraine at the usual time.
Thank you xxx
