Provera & Clomid

Hey just wondering if anyone has tried this but I have been prescribed the Provera tablet again which will force a bleed. Will Clomid work if taken on the 2nd day of my bleed?

As in my prev thread, I have not had an actual period for over 5 years so would this be worth the shot?

Provera is a progesterone and once you finish the course, your progesterone levels will drop and this is what brings on a bleed. Make sure you consider cycle day 1 as full flow and then take clomid on the 2nd day of full flow. I conceive using provera to bring on my period and clomid cycle days 2-6. Good luck 🤞🏻

So it can work potentially? did you conceive the first time or did it take you a few attempts?

Yes provera is extremely common medication in fertility treatment to bring on your period to then start medication to make you ovulate. Provera has always worked to bring on my period and clomid took trial and error but I conceived twice (one ended in early miscarriage).
