Hello ladies,

I have a bicornuate uterus and had an IVF, they implanted one embryo and it was failed.

I asked my clinic to implant 2 embryos and they said because of my condition they are can't.

now i want to ask if anybody has a similar condition, or shall i do the reconstruction surgery for this treatment or not??

Oh no, I also have a bicornuate uterus and was really hoping to have 2 embryos implanted as I'd love to have twins and it increases your chances of having 1 baby. That's really disappointing to hear they wouldn't put 2 in. I haven't started treatment yet but now I'm worried my clinic will say the same.

The reconstruction surgery sounds quite dangerous and it can cause adhesions and affect how the womb can expand. So it maybe safer to keep it as is and just have 1 embryo implanted.

Another option is to see if another clinic would transfer 2 and then possibly you could move the embryos but I don't know how easy that would be.

It is very concerning for me. As i had two failed embryo transfers and it was the best one we had, the trauma and stress is killing me.

I suggest my clinic to put 2 embryo in each horns but they refused, They said it will burst your horns.

I have another appointment on 25th May. lets see what they suggest me. But I really want two embryos this time Sad
