No second period after failed transfer

Hi, I had a failed transfer in march, stopped the projesterone after a negative test then had a withdrawal bleed /period which lasted about 4 days, today is cycle day 34 and still no sign of a second period I know after all the drugs your cycles can be a bit hit and miss. This most recent cycle I was on the medication for a longer period of time so that could explain the extended wait, me and hubby have had unprotected sex a couple of times, haven't tracked ovulation, obviously if still nothing in a few days then will do a test, just don't want to be disappointed if its negative. Has this happened to anyone else with long cycles? X

Hi @Lauraliverpool after my fresh cycle my next cycle was 10 days longer than usual, I then had a FET which was unsuccessful, my next cycle was then 5 days longer than expected. I’m not sure if the FET made it longer or if it’s still not got back to normal from the fresh cycle. IVF makes cycles less predictable for definite!

@Gardenlady543 it's just not knowing when I'm going to get a period, I know that it can take a couple of months before you go regularish again.

@Lauraliverpool I found tracking helpful with predicting when to expect it, although I know it’s nice to get a break from it. It was the time to ovulation that was delayed in my cycles, once I got my LH surge I’d have my period 14 days later. Hopefully you won’t get a period and get a BFP but if not I hope you get your period soon so you can move forward with treatment.

@Gardenlady543 I do have the flo app for tracking, sometimes you just feel so consumed by it all. Haven't been tracking ovulation. We had our follow up and the consultant said we have 3 % chance of falling pregnant.

@Lauraliverpool I know exactly what you mean, I find the clear blue fertility monitor accurate and find that urinating on a stick and putting it into a machine is less stressful that worrying about what minor temperature fluctuations could mean.

Ah bless you why 3% have they found any issues because that sounds quite low?

I didn't have a fresh transfer because of OHSS but experienced similar. My period came as normal after egg collection, but then, like @Gardenlady543, the phase before ovulation was longer than usual in my following two cycles. This was confirmed by clinic scans because I was having a FET.

@Gardenlady543 I used to use the clear blue fertility monitor and got pregnant with my son, then used the clear ovulation tests. I think it's my age (40) and I asked why the transfers failed and he said most likely my eggs.

@Yokey just want to know what's going on, this all takes so much out of you.
