Donor egg IVF in the UK

Hello,
Does anyone have any experience of donor egg ivf in the U.K.? I have one more FET cycle soon from a cycle I did when I was 34, own eggs (I’m 40 now and this will be my 6th round), none of these rounds have been successful so I’m not holding out much hope.
I’m trying to move forward and coming to terms with the fact that I’ll likely not have a child, but I am also thinking about the possibility of donor egg ivf in the U.K. I’d prefer U.K. rather than abroad, from my understanding if a child is born by donor ivf here they have the right to contact their donor at the age of 18 if they want to. I’m aware the waiting list can be long. If you’ve had donor ivf in the U.K. could you share how long you had to wait and anything else that might be helpful, the clinic you used and the matching process?
Thank you for your help.

Hi OP, you may find some helpful info on the Donor Conception board. There are quite a few donor egg discussions in there.

Are you sure it is egg quality as opposed to something else?

Good luck on your journey.

Thank you, oops I didn’t realise that- I don’t really post here that much!
I only have one ovary due to prior gynae surgery and had a late miscarriage from a previous cycle, an ectopic pregnancy and all other cycles failed so I’m not hopeful my eggs are any good.
Thanks for your help, I will have a look for the donor ivf board.
