Anything to help recurrent early miscarriage

Hi,

Does anyone have experience or advice in relation to early miscarriages. I am waiting to speak to both my ivf clinic and the recurrent miscarriage clinic but won't be seen by either for 6+ weeks.

My experience:
2x 5 day FET - one stuck - HB visible at 7 + 8 weeks but no HB at 9 week scan. Miscarried naturally at 10 weeks.
1x 5 day FET - chemical
2x 3 day fresh - one stuck. Sac and foetal pole but no HB detected. Missed miscarriage. Medical management at 9.5 weeks.

I was on aspirin and progestrone. Has anyone had a similar experience and found anything that might have helped. I am 42 so i think maybe it's just too late but i am struggling to accept giving up.

I have a 17 month old from an FET prior to the 3 i mentioned above so i know i can carry a pregnancy but it's just not working out again

I'm very sorry for your losses @Galgal15 I have recurrent losses and subfertility and we're starting ivf next month.

Did you have any of your losses tested? My fourth was tested and was chromosomally normal.

I've had standard recurrent mc tests, which includes thyroid, lupus anticoagulant, antiphospholipid syndrome but nothing showed up. I've found the nhs is quite often we can't find a reason, it's bad luck, try again which after 4 losses we didn't feel we could do again. Particularly as I had progesterone support in my last pregnancy. So I've had private immune tests and I did find a cause for my losses - I have an overactive immune system that attacks the baby (3 of my losses we're MMC). So my ivf protocol will include steroids and clexane. I'm also on hydroxychloroquine and will have regular intralipid infusions as prescribed by my private doctor (my clinic don't feel I need this but are happy for me to continue with this).

Best wishes x

Thanks @VenusStarr, my most recent loss is gone for testing but expect that to take approx 6 weeks. They did warn me that this often doesn't give a reason. I will look into private immune tests.

My sympathies on your losses and I wish you the very best with your ivf next month 🌈
