Hello! I’m 12dp5dt after a 2 frozen embryo transfer. I’ve tested early as I couldn’t wait and have been getting a positive result that gets stronger since day 7, Today though I have bad period like pains in lower back and pelvic area and I’m spotting, I’ve been spotting on and off mainly when I wipe for the last week or so but there seems more today and I can’t shake this period like feeling off, I’m really worried I’m loosing them already :-( anyone else had similar experiences?? Thank you

So sorry this is worrying you. I had the same - slight spotting and cramping and was thinking it was too late for implantation. Got a positive result and then in the week or two following got more cramping and spotting. I'm now 15 weeks pregnant with twins so it worked out fine for me. I think it's quite common but the clinic told me that if it wasn't manageable with painkillers or if the spotting was filling a pad then to get in touch with them asap. Fingers crossed for you.

Congratulations! And thank you so much for sharing, I hope it’s a similar case to you. the pain has eased with paracetamol but the spotting isn’t going and is heavier than the light spotting I had to start which I assumed was implantation. Just keeping everything crossed it eases and I get a strong positive again tomorrow 🤞

I had this too. I had a bfp at 10dp5dt and a few days later I started spotting. It continued almost everyday until 8 weeks before suddenly stopping. The rest of my pregnancy was problem free and DS is currently sleeping soundly in his cot.

Above anything else make sure you keep taking your medication. I had a few instances where it increased and turned red and I was sure it was all over. Hopefully you have a viability scan booked within the next couple of weeks. Try to stay calm - I know that’s easier said than done.

Thank you, it’s reassuring that it doesn’t always end badly, I’m still taking the meds. My spotting has been red too at times but sort of watery, I’m just hoping it doesn’t get worse, only 1 more day and it’s official test day so at least I can ask about getting an early scan if it’s still positive, I’m having an early night so I don’t stay up worrying!xxx

I had period cramps exactly like AF. I didn't get spotting but it is far more common than people think! I imagine it's terrifying though Flowers See what your clinic say. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

@Yokey thank you xx
Update - it’s official test date but I’m still bleeding and it seems to be heavier and a deeper red, I’m still testing positive but I did a digital clear blue yesterday and it said 2-3 weeks but today it says 1-2 weeks so that doesn’t sound good, love to know if anyone else has experienced that. I’m going to have a hgc blood test this morning and if it’s a decent figure they will test again in 2 days. I’ll keep this updated it’s helped me to hear of other people’s experiences and have encouragement, keeping Eve crossed xxx

Ah how shit @Rachb18. Keeping everything crossed for you🤞

Update - I’ve had 2 blood tests, wed was 336 and Friday was 445 so it’s risen but not as much as they would expect, the nurse said it’s possible the pregnancy won’t be viable. Have another test booked Monday so another few days of waiting, it’s torture! Xxx

Sad so sorry that your tests aren't at all reassuring @Rachb18 and you have the whole weekend to worry about it. Hoping for the best for you. I guess it must be possible it'll turn around if they're testing again Flowers
