Mild Stimulation IVF, round one

I wonder if anyone else here is doing the Mild Stimulation protocol? It's my first round, started injections four days ago and going for my first scan tomorrow. Would love some buddies with a similar experience! 🥰

@VenusStarr starting up again next month! Was planning on starting this month but had a cyst and thought I'd take the month off to allow some time to recover. It's actually been quite nice though, I've planned lots of things this month as I know I don't have to be at home for a certain time for injections! How are you feeling about starting? You start soon don't you?

Yes, just waiting (impatiently) for af! I had a tiny bit of spotting today, so don't think she's far off. I'm getting excited now. I've been doing the mindful ivf prep just before bed.

@PPPPPP excellent idea about making distracting plan. Wishing this months goes fast for you and best of luck for your next cycle.

@VenusStarr I can imagine! I have my treatment consultation next week and I'm excited for that. But I think last night I had my first wave of nervousness about the egg retrieval process and what that will feel like and if it's too much etc etc all that"what if" thinking that isn't helpful for anyone. I'm trying not to get stuck in the spiral but I think I need to stop reading so much about the process and focus on other things until the time is here. Hard because it is all I can think of!

Spotting is a good time she coming. I'm sure all will go smoothly for you. Will you be injecting yourself for will you have help?

Thank you @Hoping4baby21 @VenusStarr @PPPPPP 🥰 I took a digital test today and it came back "pregnant" + the cheapie is now a very obvious line (it was a bit of a squinter two days ago) so I am really starting to believe it's happening! Just need that final confirmation tomorrow that hcg levels are looking good. I would be so thrilled: of course you always hope it would work the first time round but I was mentally preparing myself for at least 2-3 cycles.

@PPPPPP sorry to hear about the cyst but glad you are treating yourself to some nice things in the meantime.

My period still has a little while yet not due until 16th May now. My body did decide to ovulate a day earlier. How nice of it.

I second that on the domino effect of good news 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽. One of my close friends told me she was pregnant yesterday. First attempt so that now makes all bar one of my close friends who got pregnant on the first try. I want to have a chat with the person who is in charge because it's getting ridiculous now!

Hoping time flies quickly for you between now and mid may and that all the surplus of good news will put you in a brilliant frame of mind for when the process starts! x
