Help me with this test/line eyes/infertility induced madness

Could be triggering for some! I have posted here as I know you ladies will understand how infertility can make you a bit mad, and I don’t want to get flamed on the ‘fertile’ forum. But of course, I don’t want to cause any upset, so please avoid is testing is a no go for you ❤️

Hi all

I need a very serious reality check because I think I am going mad.

I can’t have kids (apparently), but after a load of weird symptoms I took a test. I left it and wandered off, so no idea when/if line came up.

The photos aren’t great but I feel like I can see the very faintest of lines.

Please can someone with no connection to me whatsoever give me an honest opinion? And if you’re going to confirm that I’m losing my mind, please do it kindly 🤣

Well I can see a line but if it wasn’t read within the time frame specified then you have to disregard it as it could be an evaporation line.
Re test in the morning with FMU and read the test in the timeframe as per instructions.

Thank you, you are totally right and I feel like such a twit for not timing it! Tbh I was so sure it would be negative and I find it SO upsetting, but my GP always asks “could you be pregnant” to EVERYTHING and I had an appointment....so was sort of doing it just to get it over with, then came back later and noticed this.

Has anyone done something similar? How did it turn out? I know it’s no guarantee for me but it will make me feel more sane to hear other peoples stories 😆

I had the same thing on a clearblue and I remember reading that clearblue blue dye tests are notorious for giving blue evap lines/false positive

I don’t know if it was a chemical pregnancy or not but I had my period on time, my test looked exactly like yours.

I hope it’s positive if that’s what you want, but try to get hold of a pink dye test - first response early results tests are usually more reliable. Wish for good news for you, whatever outcome you prefer!

Ugh, that’s what I’m worried about! I did take a link dye test a while ago and I got an evap line just after ten mins 😭

I need to sit and watch them. But it’s so distressing when I know it’s not gonna be positive, if you see what I mean!

I remember you from old threads when you were doing donor egg IVF (I can't remember what username I had back then but we cycled together in the June/July i think - I had another ectopic and you got your BFP) - anyway I went on to have twins in January 😃

Anyway I digress.......to me that looks like a BFP BUT those tests are notorious for evaps after the time limit. Take a FRER tomorrow???
It's not unheard of women to get pregnant naturally after IVF - I know a few people who used donors and then conceived on their own afterwards so all it took was time

@shazzz1xx Aw, thanks! I am under no doubt that even if it is a positive in the long run that there will most likely not be a baby at the end - my eggs are fried!

I had another one in the pack which I took this morning - same super faint line but it deffo showed up in the 10 min window because I timed it 😆 so now I don’t know what to think. I’m inclined to think I’ve got a dud packet tbh. I did do a frer the other week and had a very faint line which I thought was an evap. Hmmm.

I will splash out on a decent test and put myself out of my misery I think!

We are great thanks! I'd never have thought when I had the ectopic and lost my last tube that I'd be pregnant with twins a year later

There is another regular poster who used to be on these boards after multiple failed donor egg rounds got pregnant naturally so you never know your luck!! 🤞

Well, I had one more positive and then two negatives 🙄 so I’m gonna go with negative and there is some fresh medical hell ahead for me

Hopefully my GP will behave appropriately and refer me for bloods and a scan
