ABC criteria for FSH / AMH?

I have been looking into ABC IVF. On their website, on one page it says criteria is "AMH over 12" but on another page it says "AMH over 12 or FSH under 12".

Does anyone know which test they actually use? Is it strictly AMH or do they sometimes look at FSH instead?

My FSH is 7 (good) but my AMH is 9 (too low), hence why I'm asking. Just wondering if anyone else has been accepted by ABC with similar levels.

FWIW I am 25 years old.

I did a cycle with them last year and they only asked for AMH. They also did a scan to check AFC.

Thanks @CP26. I wonder if that's their new policy and maybe the FSH thing is outdated

@acaciabluebell I'm with ABC in Cardiff and remember the nurse telling me that she needs to count at least 12 follicles on baseline scan to be able to reach standard for IVF with them. Hope that helps x

Hi I’ve just had my baseline scan this week. You need a minimum of 12 follicles and the nurse explained to me that they would conduct an amh test if you had less than 15 follicles. I was lucky and didn’t need a blood test x

I see! Thank you so much @StarryHannah and @Ac1234567 xx
