I have been totally stupid .. amid hormones and having a really bad few days I did a test ... 4 1/2 days after transfer .. there is a faint line .. could it be a positive or too early? Or is it the trigger still .. I shouldn’t have tested ...

I don't know if that could be a genuine positive or trigger, but testing 4 days after a two day transfer is very early. It's such a difficult wait isn't it!

I agree with @Yokey I really really hope it’s a positive for you @Furmummy but 4dp is early to test even with a day 5 embryo, with a 2 day embryo you’re at 6dpo, which is early. I would say always test first thing in the morning and hopefully you will see some lines getting darker and have your answer soon

I'd say there's still a good chance that's the trigger, so maybe just disregard this one and keep holding out longer, especially if you've done a day 2 transfer...so embryo is only 6 days old today. Implantation is hopefully happening, but unlikely to show pregnancy hormones yet. Hang in there, you've got plenty of days left for this to work.

Thanks guys .. your all totally right but thanks for the positivity ... the tww is just awful abs had such a bad few days that I did it in a moment of madness ... fingers crossed though ... it was a two egg transfer so that was other reason I wondered .... but I think your right I will put it down and try and switch off for a few days x

If it was a 3 day transfer then it's most likely the trigger shot....

I tested out my trigger shot (x2 ovitrelle shots) and it was gone by 3dp5dt. I then got a very very very faint squinter of a BFP at 3.5 dp5dt and faint BFP at 4dp5dt.....But that was with twins

Well it was definitely the trigger - I learnt my lesson not to test early - not testing till the test date

I’m sorry it got your hopes up @Furmummy detecting the trigger won’t have any impact on whether you will get a BFP in a few days time though, so fingers crossed 🤞

You're not out yet - I only got a faint BFP on FRER with twins at 3.5-4dp5dt 🤞🤞

Ah that's disappointing (even if somewhat expected). But, hopefully at least one of your embryos is settling in and getting comfortable right now. Wishing you the best of luck 🤞

Just test everyday see if it’s gets lighter or darker.. I did, I just have to that’s me

Thank you all ... I didn’t realise how bad this tww would be, maybe the mix of progesterone too ... I think it makes you realise how much you want it .... am going to try not to test for a few days at least after today’s disappointment x

So currently day 6 post 3 day transfer, had awful night sweats last night .. was negative yesterday, but retested today (I know I am stupid 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️) but have a very faint positive today ... surely the trigger shot would be gone by now as been 11 days ..... 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I know it’s really hard (I’ve been there) but you really need to step away from the tests completely until the date your clinic have advised you to test. Anytime before then and you will be uncertain either way.

Really hope you get a BFP at the end of the week. Good luck.

I don't know when the trigger leaves because I only ever had a FET. I would be feeling more positive about this test than the other one though, especially if you had a negative in between. You also had two transferred, didn't you? It's still early but I'd be cautiously optimistic. Really hope it is how it seems for you 🤞

I am on my 2ww too. 5dp5dt I would usually test today but I have OH my tests and he's hidden them from me.
I would defo be feeling positive about your positive, especially when you had a negative inbetween testing that to me would mean ur trigger had gone

I'm feeling positive about your positive too 🤞🏻 by 11 days, I would have expected the trigger to be almost out of your system, if not totally out and the line would be a lot fainter. I know it can take up to 14 days trigger is usually gone by 10 days and that line is not a squinter!
