Hi everyone, I'm brand new to the forum. Don't understand the acronyms yet, so please excuse me.
OH and I got married last year after a long engagement, and are seriously thinking about starting our family. We've been talking about it for ages but know it won't be an easy journey.

All through my adult life I've had irregular periods, with my last one being 53 days (34 days was the previous). Was on a mini pill about 6 years ago, and don't leave an overly stressful life. I am 26 and have the top end of a normal/healthy BMI.

OH had the snip in his previous marriage. He has very short muscles and ligaments, so would be very hard to reverse as the tubes were hard to tie off in the first place. Before this he had a 'low' sperm count. He is 40 and overweight.

When we visit DRs, what questions do we need to ask?
I know that because of the choices made we are going to have to pay for everything.

Forgot to mention, OH only has one working teste due to an indecended teste when he was younger.

Hello 👋

Have you spoken to someone about getting your husbands snip reversed? They can check if it is a viable option. Does he have any children? I'm 27 , parnter is 42 and had a reversal in 2019 so happy to answer any questions regarding this!

Hi @RobinRose, would be great to chat about - my concerns would be he had a low sperm count before, plus my very irregular periods whether it would be a success or not. He doesn't have any children.
