I am currently 7+1 weeks pregnant , and yesterday morning I have gone for a wee and to my surprise when I wiped there was bright red blood on the tissue with a small 'stringy bit' type of tissue. My heart sunk instantly. Weirdly though I wasn't in any pain at all, which is why it came to me as such of a surprise. This lasted for literally only 10 minutes and then it stopped completely, and I've had no bleeding since. However I have noticed that my nipples / boobs are no where near painful like they were just a few days ago... they was so painful I couldn't touch them... but now I can? I'm worried as I have had 3 consecutive miscarries since October 2020 , and every time the first thing I noticed when something was wrong, was my boobs not being sore anymore.

I'm not registered with a midwife yet as my GP's midwife do not register patients until they're 8-9 weeks pregnant. So I rang 111 last night as I was having strong pains but no bleeding, and they booked me in for an out of hours GP appointment at the local hospital. They took a urine sample and confirmed no infections but a positive pregnancy test. They have booked me in for an early scan tomorrow at the early pregnancy unit to see what's going on.

I know I've just got to sit tight and wait for the scan tomorrow , but has anyone else experienced anything similar to this? I am still feeling nauseous, however there hasn't been any bleeding since yesterday.... but my boobs aren't sore at all anymore 😢

Really unsure of what's going on... feeling so fed up! I'm on a waiting list to see a gynaecologist for my recurrent miscarriages the more I have miscarriage scares the more I'm leaning towards just going private!

Oh and I am SICK of hearing "oh don't worry too much , 1 in 4 women suffer a miscarriage and they go onto have healthy pregnancies" yes thanks for that , but why have I had 3 in a row??!!!!! Ugggghhhhhhh. Rant over

Hey @early20s i'm so sorry to read this. I've had 3 consecutive miscarriages too and I'm now in my second round of IVF as a way to combat it. I want to say 'don't worry, bleeding can be completely normal' - but I know it feels to hear that after so many instances where it hasn't been. I'd say try and self care today though, what can you let go of? How can you rest or relax? A favourite meal perhaps... anything to get yourself through this until you see the scan.

I very much hope it isn't bad news for you again. I've had very recent special investigations via NHS (not the usual ones) - which actually did give answers and a solution. So feel free to message me if things don't turn out ok xx
