Hope all are well. Unfortunately we failed a second cycle of icsi. I'm in my early thirties with no known gynae issues so consultant wants some further tests before we try again as our embryos are mostly poor quality and our 1 good one didn't implant.
I read so many stories of people having multiple cycles which fail in the UK and going abroad it works- for anyone in that position, or who chose to go abroad rather than stay in the UK, is there anything you feel about using a particular clinic abroad that meant your IVF was successful?
I'm in 2 minds about going abroad I wonder if it might be less stressful and can almost make a holiday of it, but IVF can be stressful anyway let alone when you're abroad with limited knowledge of the area and health system!
Although cost is a massive issue with IVF we are lucky to have the financial means to do a few more cycles in the UK if we wanted. I've been happy with the care we have received at our clinic and I can't imagine they could have predicted how our embryos would turn out. So I'm in 2 minds.
