TTC - No AF, BFN, Cramps

Not sure if this is the right topic board. Apologies if not.

Background: TTC for 5 years; undergone numerous fertility tests and diagnosis is "unexplained infertility".

Cycle length is 26 days - regular as clockwork & never miss a period. Positive OPK (I test every month) is always CD11/12 so no issues with irregular cycles or ovulation.

I'm currently on CD31 which is just unheard of for me with no AF. I took a pregnancy test on CD28 which was a BFN, so waited until this morning and again...BFN. Sad

I've got painful cramps and have had them for days; but just no sign of AF.

Anyone experienced this? I'll obviously go to the doctor if this continues but just looking for some advice/thoughts before that.

I was so convinced this month could be it when I was late, so to see two BFN is SO gutting!!

Unexplained is no diagnosis at all; this means that they have failed to find out what is wrong. Sometimes it is a "diagnosis" given to couples when they have not been adequately investigated. Do not ever accept unexplained.

What tests have both of you had done to date?. Often some get missed out even though many claim that they have had all the tests done. Any test result over 6 months ago should be discounted, both of you need current test results.

I would ditch using the OPKs; you are well beyond the stage of using such things.

If these painful cramps are outside your "normal" when it comes to periods this needs flagging up.

I missed a period once. Literally just once in my entire life, despite bring otherwise very regular. Apparently that's perfectly normal.

I also have unexplained infertility and having a late period is the cruelist trick Flowers
