Male diet for infertility

I hear alot about Mediterranean diet for women and low carb/low sugar (my sweet tooth means that one is a little hard!) But is anything recommended for men?
We just failed our second cycle of ICSI, we seem to get embryos that grow to day 3 but by day 5 most are cc or below or arrested. We had a really nice AB that was hatching this time but it's been our only nice embryo of the 2 cycles.
I'm going to see what our consultant thinks are the issues DH has taken some supplements doesn't drink or smoke but I wonder if it's worth asking him to change diet a little too?x

Hi,
My DH and I haven't started any treatment yet but have recently been diagnosed with MFI so will require ICSI...
After the SA we contacted Jonathan Ramsay as I had read he is the best urologist, during our initial consultation he advised by changing DHs diet we can absolutely improve the count and quality of sperm, therefore the chance of a successful cycle. (My husband is overweight but not massively) We have been referred to a specialist in fertility nutrition called Melanie Brown so look forward to her advice at our appointment next month!
I'd be interested to know what steps you take next and wishing you the best for your next step x

Ah thank you! She was on a podcast I was listening to recently and really seems to know her stuff, think you'll be in good hands if you are happy to please let me know if there's any specific foods she suggests.
She mentioned walnuts and watercress on her podcast and from my research brazil nuts are very good as well.
My consultant wants to investigate me for any implantation or egg quality issues so we will have to take a step back from IVF for a few months which I am a little upset about
Best of luck for your appointments xx

My other half was on proxeed plus and lots of smoked salmon and salmon fillets, veg, walnuts, cut back alcohol but not completely. Seemed to help on count/morphology.
