Is it game over? 8 day scan

Had my day 8 scan and sadly the scanner could see only one 16mm folicle and a few smaller ones .. she has prepared me that on Wednesday it might be that we are discussing the viability of the cycle as they don’t usually go ahead with 1. We are paying privately so I feel regardless I might as well try as have paid for it .. any similar stories or advice?

Hi @Furmummy I know someone who was in a similar situation, they had a few follicles but then ended up with one if a good size plus another smaller follicle. They went ahead with the procedure but didn’t get any eggs from the follicles. I guess it’s kind of luck if you’re doing the procedure for 1 follicles. You’ll have to see if any have caught up by Wednesday, if they don’t go ahead, you could ask if they do a partial refund considering EC must form a fair chunk of the cycle cost. My clinic has a treatment cancellation policy on their price list.
