Hello, I thought I would post as I’m starting to go out of my mind. I’m 6 days post my frozen 5 day transfer.

Since day 1 I have had tender boobs but not swollen and get the odd stabbing tingle on my left side lower abdomen but nothing major and I tested using first response first thing and it’s negative.

So many people I have spoken to at least got a faint line by day 6 I’m so worried nothing has happened. It was an AB embryo. They said it had expanded and started to hatch.

I’m worried I was too active the first few days.

Any tips or hopes that it may still have worked

I'm in a similar position and trying to keep positive but it's hard! I don't think you can know for sure at this stage and it's better to wait until otd if you can but I'm definitely struggling with this myself. I have been frantically searching for success stories online and they are out there! Finger crossed for you xx

It’s so good to hear from you. I know me too I feel like I have read everything on google. I’m not sure if I can face doing anymore tests now. What day are you?

I got a BFN on the morning of 8dp5dt and the faintest positive that evening. That's not uncommon. It's too early to know anything for sure. I also think it's highly unlikely you were "too active". It would have to be extreme to affect anything so if it doesn't go your way, please don't blame yourself.

Can I ask what pregnancy test you used? Was it the early first response??

I've had no symptoms whatsoever apart from some bad cramps last night. However I don't think symptoms or lack of are really a good gauge at this stage. Used frer earlier in the week and tested again with clear blue early detection test this morning and nothing.

Ugh it’s honestly so tough isn’t it. I have left it today and will try again tomorrow day 8 as I think I need a day off from the disappointment. Are you doing a fresh or frozen?

Sounds like we're in a similar timeline! I'm 8dp5dt this morning from our FET.

So far I've resisted testing but have been planning to to do an early test tomorrow morning using FRER .

OTD is Wednesday (12dp5dt)

Found it easier during the week when I had work to distract me but think the next few days are going to drag.

Zero symptoms. Would only LOVE some nausea! To give me some hope !! 🥴

@DauntedAF at well done for holding out. My OTD is Tuesday my clinic said wait 10 days. I think I’m might try again tonight or tomorrow.

Hah I know what you mean I would love some nausea.

Is this your first cycle? It is mine so I’m not really sure how to feel. Seems everyone I know personally tested positive even though it was faint at 6 days which really hasn’t helped my situation. 😢

Do you know if AF can start when on this medication? I’m on Lublin, progynova, estrogen patches and suppositories.

Terrified of it starting although it doesn’t feel like it’s coming.

In terms of trying again, I know your first morning urine is much more reliable so maybe hold out for tomorrow if you can

And in terms of normality, it's hard to know. I would try not to be influenced if you can. I suspect you're more likely to post the picture of the positive bfp line on d6 thab the negative one. All I'm trying to focus o. Is being healthy and calm. I find the Mindful IVF app helpful for calming my thoughts..even just for a few minutes. It'll have to do while I can't go at the wine!!

In terms of AF, I'm not sure. I understood that it wouldn't come until after you stopped taking the meds but could be wrong

@IndigoA I would say S well that rightly or wrongly I have 10dp5dt as the benchmark for when a positive is likely. So I do think you're very early . Fingers crossed for you

Thank you @DauntedAF that’s really kind. I totally agree I just wish I was able to be more chilled. I have been stressed this whole process and thought I would nail the 2ww but sadly I totally fell apart.

I will take your advice and hold off until tomorrow as I think I’m emotional today anyway.

Sorry, to clarify, my BFP was a while ago now (dc is 9 months) but I'm hanging around infertility again because I'm doing another FET in a few months so I'll be back on the rollercoaster (though I wouldn't for a second suggest it's as difficult as it was when I had no children.)

I've attached my first ever positive. You might not even be able to see the second line it's so faint! Like I said, evening of 8dp5dt. I had no symptoms at all and I had the exact same period pain I get before af starts. I wished for nausea too or any symptom even after the BFP, but didn't get it until 6 or 7 weeks. All completely normal so you're all still in.

Just to add, I read all the 5dp5dt bfp stories online too and was unnecessarily heartbroken. I really don't think it is usual to get bfps that early.

Sadly BFN at his morning I totally feel like giving up now

I had a very faint pale line on frer last night that appeared just outside of the timeframe and thought oh maybe this has actually worked! But it's weaker this morning so I think it must have been evap. OTD is tomorrow but I can't see that things will miraculously change in 24 hours however I will test on OTD. Wishing you best of luck @IndigoA I've seen at the end stages so much of this process seems random and is just due to chance and luck xx

That does sounds a bit promising though @Roo45 if you can still see a line no matter how light I would count it? How easy is it to see?

For what it's worth my advice would be to focus on you and pamper yourself for the next few days. If you can avoid testing do, although I know it's difficult. there are stories of bfp not arriving til OTD or just before so don't lose hope, but do try and focus on your own wellness and wellbeing. Don't forget how amazing and strong you are to have got this far. It's so taxing on our bodies and minds that all you can do is try find some peace. Then hopefully you get good news on OTD 🤍
