BBT reading help

Hi! This is my first time tracking BBT & I don't know what my chart says. I look up online and the charts look very different from mine.
I was wondering if any of you can help me understand my chart.

I want to try and understand -

  1. If I ovulated this cycle or not?
  2. My temp throughout has been 36.something. It didn't drop to 35 or go up above 37. Is that ok or does it indicate any problem?
  3. Post ovulation (according to the app) my temp has been going up & down; but only very slightly. In online charts, the temps fluctuate a lot. I don't have such fluctuation. Is that ok or does it indicate any problem?
  4. Any other insights you can provide

Some of you may know me from other threads, but my basic details -
TTC for many years, about to turn 37, have hypothyroid since 2011, no children yet, 1 natural MC, 1 failed IVF, another IVF resulted in MC last year in August. Since my last MC, my ovulation pains have almost gone. Previously I used to feel ovulation, but not anymore. So thought to try the BBT method.

I wakeup generally once at night to pee (sorry TMI), so I am not sure if it impacts my BBT measurement. I try to get 2.5-3 hours of sleep after I wake up and before measuring BBT

It does look like you possibly ovulated, but your post ovulation temps are on the low side (possibly linked to your thyroid).

I do find these charts hard to read, I input onto fertility friend and that's much more obvious. I just do the free version. If you put your temps into that, repost it.

I'm very sorry for your loss ❤️ I'm on a similar, long fertility journey and it's really tough xx

@VenusStarr - thank you for your reply. Here's attached from fertility friend.

I am sorry for your journey too. Hope it gets better for us.

I definitely think you did ovulate on cd15 @HopeForARainbow. When are you expecting af? Do you get spotting during your luteal phase? It might be worth seeing if you can get progesterone prescribed for your luteal phase, as there's not a bit difference in pre and post ovulation temps.

I'm following a plan where I take it from ovulation, but I have previously done it from 7dpo. You might have to try private though - unless your GP is open minded. Mine won't prescribe it for me now, but I'm under the CRP Clinic for recurrent losses and I just get it as part of my plan there.

X

@VenusStarr - af expected 15th march. No I don't have any spotting in leutal phase. Only a day or half a day before it starts. I don't think my GP will prescribe, but let me speak to them tomorrow. Thanks for your inputs
