Inositol dosage advice!

Hi all!
I've been diagnosed with pcos and after lots of research I've decided that I must start taking inositol! I'm struggling to find if pcos should call for a higher dose than the standard serving that the bottle mentions. Any guidance from anyone with this? I've seen previous posts mention the powder so dosage is obviously different. We hopefully have our first fertility appointment at the end of the month but I'm keen to be doing as much as possible before that. I currently take the 1 serving of 1000mg but from more reading wonder if I should be taking closer to 4000mg?! Attached is the one I've purchased and have started using

I take 4 x 1000mg a day. 2 in the morning, 2 at night. You do need to be taking 4000mg a day really. 3 at the v least. Good luck 🤞🏻

Agree with pp - 4g (4000mg) a day is the typical dosage for PCOS, although there is debate about whether you need to space the dose out (I just take it all at once personally).

However it looks like your product has other vitamins in it? Taking more Folate should be okay (it's a B vitamin, so you should just pee any excess out), but I'd be wary of taking much more than your Daily Value (DV) of other vitamins if you up the dose - you need to read the packet and check.

Thanks both! These are 3 tablets to get just 1000mg so I'll hunt out a better brand so I'm no knocking back 12 tablets a day! Do you have any recommendations?

I take Nature's Best Myo -Inositol powder (as my multi- vitamin already has 400 mcg Folate in it). But if you want a combo powder I've tried Viridian's Myo -Inositol and Folic Acid powder in the past and it was fine (and cheaper than the big brand Inofolic type powders).

MyOva for myo-inositol, chromium and folate, 4 tablets a day to get the full 4000mg.

Hi,
For PCOS I take 4000mg of powder Myo-Inositol daily.

Thanks for the recommendations!
