Alternative to progesterone pessary

Hi, has anyone been given progesterone in any other form than a pessary?

I've been on crinone for a few weeks and it has me driven crazy. I feel like I have thrush a lot of the time, it is so uncomfortable.

@Nichola2310 I initially took utrogestan, a progesterone pessary, it caused a lot of mess because of the discharge. As I reacted with a rash I was changed onto lubion, a subcutaneous injection, injections aren’t nice and it was more expensive, but just once a day. In the next cycle I was also put on cyclogest with the injection, this is also a pessary but can be used rectally, it might not sound that pleasant, but it’s small and you don’t get the same mess as using vaginally.

There is also another form of injection which is in oil and has to be injected into the muscle, painful and difficult to do on yourself, but I hear very good at getting the progesterone in the body.

Thank you for the info. The clinic have come back to say they'll prescribe me cyclogest suppositories so hopefully that will help.
