How important is drinking water during stims?

I had 10 days of stims (short protocol) and was really good about healthy eating and drinking plenty of water for 4/5 days but then due to some stressful events for the last half the sugar crept back up a bit (but still kept in the healthy foods too) and I've realised I completely stopped keeping track of my fluid intake. Does this help with egg quality as well as OHSS? I've had no symptoms of OHSS thankfully.
Just worried I've messed everything up now! :(

Hello, I wouldn’t think you’ve affected egg quality much if at all, extra water is mainly for OHSS and it also helps reduce some of the side effects of stims like headaches and bloating. If you’ve got a lot of follicles, OHSS will be more of a factor, but if you’re feeling fine at the moment, it seems unlikely you’ll get it in any significant way.

You should be okay lovely!

I think OHSS comes on after egg collection. After mine I made sure to drink plenty water and lots of lucozade sport and despite being considered a high OHSS risk I have gotten off with feeling perfectly fine so far!

Thank you @willithappen and @IslandStars!
It's so easy to panic about every step in this process isn't it.
Hope you both are doing well xx

@Roo45 oh tell me about it!
During stims I was panicking about eveeerything. Called my clinic for the smallest of things
It's not an easy process mentally and we overthink things a lot!
