Clomid

So I'm on my first cycle of clomid 50g (I had my daughter on my second cycle of 50g afew years ago)

I'm on cd33 no AF and BFN on FRER! I had a spot of pale pink blood on CD27 and afew cramps over the last few days. Am I out this month? Is it normal for cycles to be this long on clomid?

You should be monitored. No it's not normal for clomid cycle to be that long. It might be you didn't ovulate and need a higher dose, but without monitoring there is absolutely no way of know what's going on.

Thanks, I'm disappointed as I feel I've wasted a month. I've had no monitoring at all. I'll call on Monday

Hi @Chuktuk009

Can I ask how you got precribed clomid, was it via gp or hospital? I am on the waiting list at the hospital and after 8 months just waiting for a first appointment I am trying to explore it further. We have already id that I am not ovulating and gp has said this is generally the first thing they try.

Thanks
Hannah

Hi Hannah

Of course! I was prescribed by hospital. It was a slow process!

Hey, my first Clomid cycle was long. I was on 100mg and was 35 days (my cycles normally range 27-34 days)

On my first cycle of clomid at 50 mg. My cycle is a very regular 35 days. But it is now cd 38 - no period and pregnancy tests are all bfn. Trying to contact my obgyn, but she’s incredibly difficult to get ahold of.
