Hello,

I’ve just found out that I’m going to start IVF with Bart’s subject to COVID in April. I’ve been told that a nurse will call me to book in a video consultation. This will be my first round of IVF so I don’t know what to expect, please could someone share their IVF experience with me. What is the timeline from video consultation to egg transfer. Excited and nervous as the same time. I also have to drop a few kg as my BMI is currently 31 and it need to be below 30 by April

@maggie227 that’s a shame but atleast you were able to get your new tests in so quickly so hopefully there won’t be much of a delay.

I called them last week as I hadn’t heard back after completing our last few tests. They have said I should expect to be contacted in 2-3 weeks to advise next steps so fingers crossed! Next steps are all a little unknown at the moment but I’m hoping I’ll know more soon.

PS - I’d recommend calling the clinic if you do not hear from them after about 2 weeks of your last test.

Hi @Eliash !! We heard back about our tests exactly one week after we did them, and the good news is I passed for NHS funding!! However, my husband still has to do a karyotype test so fingers crossed for that. I hope you’ll hear back soon! Glad we’re kind of on the same timeline. 🙏
