Hi Everyone! wondering if anyone will know the answer to this...

My DH had his first semen analysis done and it came back at 1%, he had his second last Thursday and the results came back Friday at 2%... The fertility doctor at the fertility clinic said when we get a re-test, if the results are still bad we will get the NHS funding for IVF....

Does anyone know if being 2% will allow us to qualify for funding? I should have asked this on the phone! Has anyone had 2% morphology and been referred for IVF treatment?

Thank you!

Funding qualification isn't just about sperm results - you'll have to qualify under age criteria, BMI, whether either of you have kids already first, smoking etc, whether your area even provides fertility treatment on the NHS as well. But yes my DH also has morphology at 2% and we were referred for IVF too x

@ivfbeenbusy thank you for your response... I'm aware of the qualifications as we have already qualified for everything, just needed these last test results and the fertility clinic doctor said if they are still low, she will grant us the funding as we have hit all other criteria, I was just wondering if the 2% is considered still low, I believe it is but was wondering if anyone else has been referred with 2%, glad to see you have, hope you're journey goes well! Hopefully we will be considered too
