Any IVF patients in Scotland? Starting out and looking for advice!

Hi everyone- I’ve recently had 2 ectopic pregnancies and lost both Fallopian tubes as a result. Only option now is IVF (self funded as we don’t qualify for NHS). GRI is our first choice but not sure if they are currently taking on new private patients or what the waiting list is like so also considering GCRM. Does anyone know the current situation for private patients at GRI? Or have any experience of GCRM? We have one round to try and make this work a due to money/my age etc so I’m anxious to make the right decision! Thanks so much for reading this far xx

Sorry about your ectopics, that must have been really traumatic. I’m in Scotland but on the NHS. According to GRI private page they are taking new patients. There’s also a Facebook group “Glasgow IVF and ICSI support group” you could ask in.

Thanks for your message- I just wondered because Edinburgh also says they are taking new patients but when I phoned it was NHS only. I’ll have a look at the Facebook group- thanks so much! Good luck with yours xXx
