Spotting 1 week after ovulation

Hi all, I’ve been ttc for nearly 2 years now and currently undergoing investigations (HSG is next). According to blood tests and my OvuSense I am ovulating, but then about a week to 8 dpo I start to get brown spotting. This starts really light then builds up to get heavier and darker over the course of a week then into AF which usually lasts another week. This obviously really concerns me but doesn’t seem to concern any doctors I’ve spoken to about it. Just wondered if anyone has anything similar? TIA x

I have the same! Cycles range between 21-28 days. Hasn't concerned anyone so far. Had blood tests and an ultrasound and all came back fine, and no one seems to want to look into it any further?

Me! I went 2 years ago to the GP about it. They did investigate but like you say- not interested. It varies by month for me. Some months I'll spot after ovulation for a day or so (occasionally I don't get any then) and it'll then subside and restart any time between 3 and 5 days before AF due. Other months I can literally spot the whole 2 weeks of my LP. The amount also varies- can be brown and light or red and some months quite heavy.

Fast forward to now and I've had a fertility referral. SA is OK so the issue is clearly me. I still do not really know where the spotting fits in. I'm to have a HSG after AF comes and my scan was fine. Blood tests also fine. They are actually trying me on progesterone this month though to see if it makes any difference. I personally thought it wouldn't (my day 21 test is fine) but we shall see......
