Progesterone Suppositories - IVF

Hi all,

Hoping to have my 5 day transfer tomorrow and currently on progesterone Suppositories three times a day.
Just wondering everyone's experiences of them?
I'm having in my quite bad backache (like I do before I get my period which is making me super anxious) and (sorry maybe TMI) but thrush like discharge, but only a tea-spoon full or so. Worried they're not working properly and could sabotage any chance of implantation

Anyone have any similar experience of this?
Am I worrying for no reason?

If you have are using the progesterone vaginally it's normal for a white discharge to come out.
Check with your clinic but that has been my experience.
Some women use them rectally, I haven't tried it that way but have seen it mentioned on threads here.
Good luck for the transfer, you can always ask when you go in.
Some clinics check your progesterone levels on the day.

I've been on them for a couple of weeks.... we find out on Thursday if this cycle has been successful 🤞

The white discharge is apparently the outer casing of the tablet - nothing to worry about. But as the previous poster said, its worth mentioning to your clinic.

The worst thing about the suppositories is the leaking... I have to wear a pad all the time !! I think its that that causes the irritation. I bought some toilet wipes and using them has helped with the irritation.

Good luck!
