This is so embarrassing to share but I'm in so much pain and worried.

I've had 9 miscarriages and 3 surgeries for endometriosis, the latest being in July done by a different consultant to my usual.

He said there was no endometriosis there even though my past surgeries I'd had it removed from my womb, bladder and bowel.

I've been having worse periods since the surgery, soaking a pad every 15 minutes, tampons are pointless need to change them every 5-10 mins. I've started using a cup instead with a pad too in case.

I saw a Dr who recommended I have the coil whilst I wait for more tests for my recurrent miscarriages.

I'm losing clots like this and blood constantly for 7 days until it eases off and eventually stop bleeding around day 9.

I don't know what to do with myself when it's this bad, tranexamic acid doesn't work.

Am I likely to become ill losing this much blood? I'm constantly tired, dizzy, feel weak. I'm in my 20s and feel 80 most of the time. It's making my life hell. I have to sleep on a towel in the bed, shower twice a day, take spare underwear with me everywhere.

Any advice?

You poor love, I'm so sorry you're going through this. It sounds like you might be anaemic - please speak to your GP on Monday and arrange a blood test. Are you taking an iron supplement?
It does sound like using a method of contraception would be your best bet for controlling your bleeding - either a pill or Mirena (hormonal) coil. Of course this would mean putting TTC on hold for a little while but that might be better for your health right now. I know that might be really hard to come to terms with.
Do you have Gynaecology follow up? If you feel really unwell or if the bleeding is very heavy then you should go to A&E - at least for a blood test. Sending you much sympathy xx

I remember those types of (chopped liver like) clots all too well, in my case these were related to endometriosis. Tranexamic acid never worked for me either.

I would go to A & E and today, you need to see a gynaecologist urgently. Mirena is not suitable for all women and you need to get medical attention asap because anaemia here is a real possibility (you feel weak and tired already due to the blood loss).

I'm sorry but that is not acceptable to be left. I'd go straight to A&E if I was you and get seen today. I hope you get it sorted and start feeling better

I know this is an old thread, but is it possible you have Adenomyosis?

Also, did you have surgery with an excision specialist?

From what I have seen, general gynaecologists are able to successfully treat endometriosis.

Got yourself to A&E.
