Extremely low progesterone day of FET transfer

Hello, I had a FET transfer. After the transfer they took my bloods and the following day I found out my progesterone level was 7 (!) My clinic like the level to be 50 plus.

This was obviously quite shocking and upsetting to be told this. I was called back into pick up a progesterone injection but I worry that for the first 24/28 hours I had virtually no progesterone in my body.

It feels like this will be a wasted cycle which is so upsetting. The hospital have said they try and rescue it by adding progesterone and my levels should rise but it feels too little too late.

Has anyone else had any experiences like this?

Why don't clinics test the day before transfer? (I'm at a very well known and respected private clinic in london)

It's heartbreaking thinking it could have been prevented.

I had a fresh failed cycle last March

Hi,

I had my progesterone checked on the day of my FET transfer but wasnt informed until the following morning. It was measured slightly lower than they wanted.
So i started Lubion on 1dp5dt. Currently 32 Weeks pregnant.

Good luck

My clinic doesn't test at all. I found out by period arriving 6 days after transfer so for transfers since I've been on high dose progesterone.

I think if they test on the day that must be soon enough for them to be able to get progesterone levels back high enough otherwise they wouldn't bother at all if you see what I mean. Try not to worry, easier said than done I know.

Hiya! I’m exactly in the same position as you, I was wondering what the outcome was for you?
