Sorry if I was on the wrong bit.

I have been with my partner for four years and I had roughly two chemical miscarriages in a year! (He showed no emotion) We have been trying again(but there has been massive issues - sorry this is too much info) he can't stay hard or perform! He has always had this issue throughout the four year of dating!

He suddenly told me yesterday over the past year he has been using porn 5 days a week while at work (WFH) this has completely shocked me as I never expected it and I realised he been deleting his history. I know guys use porn etc but it started to effect our sex life and I find this unacceptable!! He also said he was addiction to porn!

I don't know if I am over reacting or what! But I can't shake the uneasiness of it.

It sounds like he may be really struggling so maybe you could suggest some counselling to help? You say he doesn’t show emotion and has an addiction so probably just needs some help and he has been open and honest with you now so it’s almost like a request for support from yourself in a way.

I completely understand that as his partner you’d find this particular addiction really hard to cope with (I would too in your position) but if he really is addicted it’s like being addicted to a substance or gambling etc. In those cases you’d think rehab or therapy etc so if you can talk to him and get him to see it that way he may agree to get help?

When it comes to ttc as hard as it is to pause I wonder if a break might be helpful whilst he works on the issues? It’s such a difficult thing when nothing works out during ttc and he seems to be struggling so the pressure may not be helping him mental health.

Look after yourself too. This is a lot to deal with!

Best of luck...let us know how you get on!

Just wanted to pop by...

Not all men who use porn a lot (or daily?) are addicted. Honestly. My husband pretty much goes off for a wank daily (as far as I know) and is also one of those people who"can't" masterbate without porn. He finds it weird that I do without porn. It's a means to an end.

Anyway, yes, if he as a true "addiction" then for sure please seek help from groups or foundations that know more, but I just wanted to say that the incidence in itself doesn't have to ring alarm bells. My husband simply has a higher sex drive than I do.
