Adenomyosis experience?

Hey all. So I've gone to a private clinic following recurrent miscarriage and been told I have adenomyosis. I havent had my follow up yet but doc suggested it is an underlying cause of miscarriage and hinted there were treatment options. I just spoke to an NHS for a virtual appointment, who tells me it has nothing to do with fertility. My own research suggests the first doc is right. Does anyone have any insight into this condition/any experience being diagnosed and went in to have treatment and or successful pregnancy? Many thanks!!!

Hi, I was told from an MRI scan last month I have suspected adenomyosis. I told my NHS fertility consultant who basically didn't want to know. I don't think the NHS know enough about it to be honest. It's why women struggle to get diagnosed for years. I have joined a few support groups on Facebook and it seems like plenty of women have successful pregnancies with this condition but it can cause a higher chance of miscarriage. Sorry I don't have much info, I want to know more about it myself but there isn't much out there. There is no real treatment for adenomyosis, but I have read that if you are down regulated (shut off your ovaries) it can help the adenomyosis to calm down. My IVF clinic don't seem concerned though when I told them.
