Short protocol timeline?

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone can give me their timeline of antagonist cycle? I’m struggling to understand what the clinic have told me. I’d be taking norethisterone from day 21 for 8 - 13 days before injections and then freeze all day 5 embryos (fingers crossed). Thank you very much!

Hi @elsieluck! I can speak from my experience if you want :) I am quite new too...

What i did for my first cycle in Dec-Jan, and for the second coming this month, is taking norethisterone from day 14 to day 27-29 approximately, wait for "periods" do appear (=day 1) and start stimulations from day 3 of this new cycle until the eggs have a good size, around day 14, where the egg collection happens.

My embryos were frozen at day 3 for the 1st cycle, and embryos from the second cycle will be pooled with the frozen ones, grown to day 5 and tested for chromosome abnormalities.

How many scans did you have while you were injecting? I live so far away from the clinic so trying to figure how how many trips I’ll need to make! Did you just have scans after the injections?

Will you do a frozen transfer the cycle after your next ivf round?

I had a baseline scan on day 1-3, started injections on day 3 and had a scan and hormone blood test every two days, in order to make sure the doses of hormones given are adequate and that the eggs are growing well.

Hopefully, at the end of the 2nd cycle, i will have one frozen embryo implanted, if it came back good from the PGT-A testing
