Anyone been here for ivf?

Using access and initially had consultation with care but I've had a couple of issues so contemplating changing clinics

London Harley street but they also have a satellite clinic in Canterbury which can offer better scan appointment times

Having a think over the weekend but wondered if anyone has any experiences?

Thanks x

@strawberrysummer19 my first cycle was there and unfortunately our experience was not good. Felt like they were mainly interested in our money; frequent wrong invoices and incorrect admin. At the start of the cycle I wrote these off as teething problems but they just kept on coming & it became v frustrating during an already stressful process. Getting hold of nurses etc when I had issues also turned out to be hard. A lot of the poor reviews for them on google really resonate with me. They have had a lot more poor ones in last year or so, makes me wonder if something has changed for the worse. I changed clinics for my second round and have been so much happier with the standard of care and professionalism. I am now with access too and I am very happy to have all further treatment at this second clinic. Sorry not to be able to give LWC a glowing review but thought it might be as useful to you to hear that having had one cycle there I would definitely not go back.

Thank you @sazzt that's very interesting to read

Sorry you haven't had the best treatment
Do you mind me asking what clinic?

I was set on care but I've had issues already and they are not filling me with confidence hence the reasons I'd like the change

Thing is I think ok set on changing
The clinic I'm with only scan in the mornings and where I've started my new job I really need to find a clinic where they scan all day

I feel a bit gutted I thought I had found a clinic but they seem to be getting things so wrong
Incorrect invoices
Can't always get hold of them
The first consultation wasn't very good so we ended up having another one ( suggested by the clinic ) which wasn't that great either

We haven't parted with any money yet and access said we can change clinics

So I'll guess I'll have to do more research over the weekend as I want to find one I'm happy with

Thank you

@strawberrysummer19 it was LWC Harley St we were with. We also went to an open day at the London Bridge one (pre covid!) but weren’t keen on that after the initial consultation so moved to Harley st.
We switched to Herts and Essex fertility and I really like it. Would totally recommend them and they are partnered with Access. Might be worth a look if they are in reach for you :)

Oh I see that's where we would go for embryo transfer however the scans would be at the Canterbury clinic

No access don't have any other clinics in range unfortunately so I'm so unsure what to do

The reviews are definitely putting me off but with that said I do need to find a clinic that's not too far out of reach. London is really but as I can go to Canterbury for the scans then it makes it do able

Only other option is not using access I guess

X

I'm also not impressed with LWC. Have had my tests there and apart from them literally never answering the phone, I get a distinct sense they're unethically pushing me towards ICSI / IVF
They diagnoses hydrosalymps (probably spelling that wrong) water/ infection in left tube - but didn't actually tell me what the right tube is like. They said it was likely same problem but I've only ever had pain on the left.
The patient coordinator keeps pushing to get an op with them privately
(NHS will take ages she says, and I can't choose the surgeon)
But the exact surgeon they recommended has an NHS clinic, and my GP booked me in without any fuss.
I've booked a second opinion scan with Create and so far I'm impressed with their friendly manner and timely answering of the phone.
So grateful to Mums on here for recommending 🙏
